The new line designed by Rama composed by forming machine, loading system and closing machine is suitable to pack fresh salad into carton boxes with innovative design.
The forming machine erects the carton boxes without using any glue in order to permit the product loading directly inside the box by means of an hopper and then the closing machine closes the box flaps.

The Customer decided to use an ecologic package, easy to be recycled and equipped with a transparent window on the package upper side.

This choice permits environment respect and grants to the end consumer a full product visibility,  so that he can evaluate product freshness.

 

 

An important Chinese company leader in the beverage market, chosen RAMA to develop a project for glass bottles and cans packaging.
It had been possible to pack several required configurations thanks to the multipack machine type RM BATPACK 200 E, suitable to wrap the products with total or neck-through carton sleeves, starting from flat blank sealed by hot melt.
Equipped with a complete electronic functioning made possible by independent servo motors, the machine can reach the speed of 170 sleeves per minute, and the innovative structure based on the easy-entry philosophy, makes simple the normal maintenance operations.
The flexibility is very high thanks to a quick and easy changeover, that makes this machine the right solution for different possible applications.
Adding small modifications to the standard machine, there is also the possibility to integrate an overlapping unit on the machine infeed, which offers the possibility of a double layer package.

 

The flow-packed coffè caps could not be excluded from the products packed by RAMA, which thanks to a fast and efficient compact line, managed to load them into carton boxes without any problem. The line used for this project is type RM FRC, composed by a forming machine, a manipulator, a closing machine and the possibility of a fast and easy automatic changeover. To speak about important numbers, we talk about 240 caps per minute for a total of 20 boxes erected, loaded and closed.

 

 

To satisfy a jams specialist Italian company request, RAMA, used a compact line composed by forming machine, loading unit by means of  manipulator and angular closing machine.
This compact line was designed  to pack single-portion arriving at the speed of 400 pieces per minute and also, is equipped with automatic changeover, which permits a good time saving.

 

 

Another goal to reach has been given to RAMA from an Oxford company that deal with sweets, which had the need to pack carton boxes containing sweets into wrap around cases. The goal assigned has been successfully reached thanks to a machine, composed by two parts manufactured from two different named company but perfect to work like one.
The solution that made this operation possible is composed by a ULMA part, which receives the carton boxes containing sweets, stacks them and places them in a loading zone by means of two robots, and a RAMA part, which loads the carton boxes in a partially erected case, wraps them and closes the blank by hot melt. The cooperation between the companies RAMA and ULMA has given very good results, well satisfying the English customer requests.

 

 

Tidy and well showed candies thanks to the carton box-display designed by RAMA for an important Italian company, which permits  at the three flavours products to remain optimally separated and showed. The packaging, studied for the occasion to satisfy the producer needs, is composed by two different size trays, which are both erected by the same forming machine.
Those trays are positioned one inside the other in order to obtain three separated sections, each one for a different candy flavour.
This goal has been reached thanks to the perfect combination of  two systems: the first one permits to firmly glue the smaller tray inside the bigger one and the second one permits a specific product load depending on the tray section.
Not to be overlooked, it’s the possibility to fold the tray lid in order to create a perfect display that will fully bring out all the products qualities.

 

 

For a famous multinational company RAMA create a line suitable to pack jelly food product contained in little bags into carton boxes. An electronic forming machine equipped with three forming heads and a one flap linear closing machine, together with a fast automatic changeover, permit time saving and easier operations. These key components have been indispensable for the good success of the mission, permitting the construction of a flexible and safe line, with the power to control 120 carton boxes per minute, perfectly suitable to satisfy the costumer needs.

 

 

Another project ended successfully by RAMA, which thanks to some little modifications done to a standard horizontal cartoning machine, obtained at the very same moment a slim, safe and likeable pack. The new horizontal cartoning machine receive 140 bags per minute from flowpack wrappers stacking them 10 by 10 and packs each single stack into a carton box, which is different from the normal ones because this one, created by RAMA designers for an important Italian company, has the sides curved towards the inside. This detail brings out the shape and the originality, impressing the final user with his unusual forms and increasing the product visibility on the market at the same time. Beyond the innovative packaging, RAMA studied a clever system to stack the product from the top by means of a hopper, which neatly loads the little bags inside the machine pitches in order to reach the correct configuration. All this permits a much more easy side loading of the product inside the erected carton box.
