Pack Expo: RAMA is back!

After last year huge success in Chicago, from the 26th to the 28th of September 2011 RAMA will be again one of the Pack Expo participants. This event, leader of the packaging and processing exhibitions, will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In this occasion  RAMA will have the chance to consolidate his already known brand inside the North American market, presenting his new secondary and tertiary packaging applications and showing his machine types, perfectly manufactured to pack a wide range of products.
In the very same stand (Booth: 5001 south Hall) during the exhibition you will find RAMA together with HARPAK-ULMA, his exclusive reseller for the US market.
RAMA high trained staff will be fully available to give you all the information about the company and his product range during the entire event.

 

 

Successful Interpack 2011 for RAMA

Thanking to the commercial collaboration with the Spanish group ULMA Packaging,  Rama has successfully participated at Interpack 2011 which took place in Dusseldorf from 12th to 18th of May 2011.

It was exposed a compact top loading line suitable to pack flowpacked chocolate bars into carton trays erected starting from flat blank.
The visitors appreciated the high technology used and the real quick fully automatic changeover.

Especially the technicians appreciated the operator-oriented machine style manufactured by RAMA with easy entry philosophy other than the transparent doors which gave the possibility to see each single component inside the machine frame.
The compact line have a separate frame for the electrical cable and for the pneumatic pipes meeting the latest regulations.

The visitors had the possibility to witness firsthand the innovative and unique RAMA high speed solutions. They left with the clear understanding about the flexibility, creativity in supplying the customers first class equipment.

During the exhibition RAMA compact line ran in connection to ULMA high speed flow wrapper demonstrating the possibility to offer a complete packaging solution.

In addition to the commercial cooperation shared by the two companies, the exhibition offered the opportunity to grow the personal relationships as well.
RAMA and ULMA complete packaging solutions have been highly appreciated by customers which required to manage together several interesting projects.

20th April, 2011 Rama announces the collaboration with ULMA PACKAGING AUTOMATION, developer and manufacturer of DELTA robotic solutions, along with motion control and machine vision technology.

This Company develops and manufactures solutions for the integration and control of DELTA robotic packaging and material handling equipment.

The robot base designs in 2-, 3- and 4-axis execution can be applied for handling light weight piece goods and groups of piece goods.
The modular structure of every robots enables their quick and simple adaptation for specific applications.

Thanks to the agreement with ULMA, RAMA has a license to propose to the customers packaging machines or systems integrated with these products.

This integration permits to develop new concepts in order to achieve optimal solutions in terms of efficiency, flexibility and reliability.

January 26, 2011 - The sales team from Harpak-Ulma Packaging, LLC had the pleasure of visiting Rama last week for a sales training seminar and customer site visits. Rama and Harpak-Ulma have teamed up in North America to provide our customers with complete integrated lines from primary through secondary packaging.

The visit was very positive on a number of fronts. The team witnessed firsthand the innovative and unique high speed solutions Rama has provided to market leaders worldwide. The group came away with the clear understanding that Rama is flexible, creative and driven to supply their customers with first class equipment.  The relationship Rama has with their customers was very impressive. We were able to take 18 people into several plants operating multiple Rama lines. Rama patented a new concept of carton sleeve for briks products.
This pack is different comparing the traditional used on the Market, in fact Rama doesn’t use any plastic film or polluting material.
The carton permits the highest environment respect because it can be recycled quicker comparing other plastic materials.
The carton pack can communicate many product information through the printing by creating a real customization.

No briks crashed on the cap due to the weight which stacked packs have to support. The carton sleeve protects the cap avoiding any crash and the stacked products will also have a tidier aspect.

 

SLEEVE FOR CANS

Multipack machine suitable to pack cans at high speed (72.000 cans/hour) in carton sleeve called LATCUB.
The machine and the pack are patented realized in collaboration with ALZAMORA PACKAGING in OLOT, 17857 SANT JOAN LES FONTS (Girona - Spain).

Rama proposes a new concept of carton sleeve for cans products.
This pack is different comparing the traditional one used on the Market, in fact Rama doesn’t use the plastic ring which usually keeps the cans together and is very dangerous for animals’ life.
This plastic ring has been substituted by a carton sleeve applied on the cans upper part.
The carton permits the highest environment respect because it can be recycled quicker comparing other plastic materials.
The carton pack can communicate many product information through the printing by creating a real customization.
Carton has also the important function to cover the cans’ surface, avoiding any kind of dust and dirt, achieving a high degree of hygiene for a product which ca be consumed directly from the can.

 

 

SPECIAL PACK

A special pack developed by Rama together with an important multinational customer won the “best pack of the year 2009”.
This package was chosen because it is notable for the easy opening system and its ability to communicate the contents, also thanks to the frontal window.
The product is a little plastic container with an oval shape containing vegetable stock pot or stock pot with meat.
The pack development started from the enquiry of the customer who was looking for a special pack to launch the product on the market.

Considering the product and its characteristics, Rama staff proposed this particular carton sleeve, which is accurate in every single detail.

AWARD FOR THE JOB 2006

In 2006 Rama gained this price for the development of project “Knorr Vie”.
Rama received the request from an important international Customer to pack fruit juice bottles with a carton clip applied around the product neck.
Two packaging lines suitable for this purpose have been developed at Rama and then installed in Check Republic.
The Customer Unilever has been satisfied of the supply because Rama “Delivers What Is Promised”.
